General terms & conditions
LID Publishing General Terms and Conditions for Sales As of January 1, 2011
1.- Imprints covered. We distribute on an exclusive basis at least in the United States and Canada all the works of LID, LEO and Gallus.
2.- List and prices. The current list of books with all the data and prices is shown in www.lidpublishing.com. An Excel file can be requested at any time.
3.- Paper books. Our exclusive distributor for retailers in the United States and Canada is Book Masters. Please refer to them
4.- Electronic books (ebooks). We only use the agency model with a 30% commission or less. We could authorise a certain distributor to resell to other distributors as long as the actual customer price is the one we have stated and the total commission is 30% or less. A partial list of the sites offering our books is shown in www.lidpublishing.com.
5.- Direct sales. LID sells directly to companies and institutions based on specific contracts for certain works. All other sales are subject to prepayment, are non-returnable, and are done at the list price plus appropriate taxes. The freight will be charged unless the order is above 100 USD.
6.- Change of terms. LID reserves the right to change the terms of trade at any time with a 30-days notice. The current GTC will be the ones shown in www.lidpublishing.com
