LID PUBLISHING ONCE AGAIN IN THE FRANKFURT BOOKFAIR

[Frankfurt, 16th October 2011] Like every year, LID has been present in the Frankfurt Book Fair, hold in this city Fair from 12th to 16th October. This International Book Fair is a meeting place for the industry’s experts. Be they publishers, booksellers, agents, film producers or authors - each year in October, they all come together and create something new.

The Frankfurt Book Fair is the most important marketplace for books, media, rights and licences worldwide. More than 7,300 exhibitors from 100 countries, 299,000 visitors and over 10,000 journalists.

This is the ideal place for growing the business, expanding networks, building bridges for the future and keeping up-to-date on: digital content, the publishing landscape and information about the most important markets worldwide. In short, the Frankfurt Book Fair is the ideal place to stay abreast of trends in the publishing sector.

Since it was established eighteen years ago, LID Publishing has been present in this fair, originally just with its Spanish language titles though for the last two years it has also had a stand in the American Publishers hall where, thanks to the company’s increasing internationalization, it sells rights to its English language titles, so in recent years LID Publishing has sold rights to both in Spanish and English language titles to over 12 different countries.
